Mission:	Orchestrate awareness and utilization of the Ports to Plains Corridor
Goals:	Increase usage of corridor by increasing awareness of current and potential users. Generate media coverage of Ports to Plains activities and accomplishments.

Mission:

Increase Membership and Support of the Ports to Plains Corridor

Goals:

Retain current Ports to Plains Members and Increase their Participation in PTP activities.
Identify and recruit additional private sector members, including businesses, civic organizations, and trade associations.
Strengthen Board of Directors.
Create regional working groups that meet regularly to identify and address issues facing their portion of the corridor.
Implement strategy for recruiting new member communities, both within the corridor and other interested parties.

Mission:	Act as a catalyst to spur the construction of 4-lane divided highway, associated reliever routes and rail along the length of the corridor
Goals:	Work to attain Trans-Texas Corridor designation for Texas portion of corridor. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the departments of transportation in the four PTP states as well as the federal level. Improve rail infrastructure throughout the corridor. Identify and work for implementation of other infrastructure, such as rest stops and ITS, throughout the corridor.

Mission:	Facilitate and create economic activity and opportunity along the length of the PTP Trade Corridor
Goals:	Develop a set of economic indicators throughout the corridor to track economic development growth. Develop specific network of contacts in Mexico and Canada. Communicate business and economic development opportunities to communities and corporations along the corridor.

Mission:	Advocate on behalf of and in partnership with the members of the PTP Trade Coalition for federal and state funding of highway and rail transportation infrastructure.
Goals:	Implement coordinated effort to increase congressional support for Ports to Plains. Increase Ports to Plains presence in state legislatures. Strengthen partnerships with local governments along the corridor.
