MEMBERS & PARTNERS

Welcome to our Member page! Get acquainted with the people of the Ports-to-Plains Alliance. Using this section, learn about our over 90 member communities, economic development agencies and chambers, and business leaders. They come from all walks of life, many hail from small towns, and usually they have some direct background or experience in farming, ranching, or the oil and gas industry, or in promoting these sectors as civil servants or association leaders. Learn about the partners through whose efforts the Ports-to-Plains Alliance was created.

Our nine-state Alliance was formalized in early 2009 through an agreement between the promoters of three Congressionally-designated High Priority Corridors (the Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor Coalition; the Heartland Expressway; and the Theodore Roosevelt Expressway Association). Each group has over a decade of experience working together to develop, build and maintain transportation corridors identified as national priorities by the U.S. Congress.

Finally, experience the nine-state Alliance. An important part of what we do is helping our members tell their own stories illustrating the importance of rural America and the Ports-to-Plains economy. Read some of our success stories and case studies illustrating the economic potential and strategic significance of the Ports-to-Plains corridor to member communities and international partners. Visit our communities virtually using the online member profiles. Visualize the corridor and understand its potential power by viewing our maps.
