Todd McKee
Todd McKee joined Peoples Bank in 1999 when he and his partner formed a group of investors that purchased the Lorenzo State Bank. They opened a branch of the bank in Lubbock one month later under the name of Peoples Bank and now have five full service branches in Lubbock, Nazareth and Shallowater, Texas. Todd serves the bank as president, chief lending officer and a member of the bank board of director's.
Todd has over twenty-five years in the banking business. Prior to his move to Peoples Bank in 1999, he served as senior lender at two other Lubbock banks.
Todd is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (SWGBY) at Southern Methodist University.
Todd has been active with the Port-To-Plains Trade Corridor since its inception in 1999, and he currently serves on the board and as the treasurer of the organization. He has served as a board member of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the Legislative Committee where he led several Lubbock delegations to the Texas Department of Transportation for funding of the Marsha Sharp Freeway.
Todd also served on the board of the Preston Smith Lubbock International Airport for eight years and as chairman in 2003-2004. He is currently involved in several local organizations including: Meals on Wheels, American Diabetes Association and Frenship Foundation for Excellence (Frenship ISD). He is a deacon at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church and is a member of the Finance Committee.
Todd is married to Laurie and they have two sons, Matthew and Connor.
